About The Evans
The Evans Ministries was formed in 1996 as an equipping ministry for
the "Promotion of the Gospel of Christ and To Equip the Saints for
His Ministry". The word "Promotion": shall include the use of any
means or media to affect this purpose, including the Internet,
television, radio, newspaper and other publications or any other
proper method of communication.
It is incorporated in the state of and is registered in the state of
Florida as a foreign corporation. It is a 501c3 non-profit
organization and donations to it may be tax-deductible.
From its beginnings in the 1990s, the ministry held church in
Cranston, Rhode Island under the name Celebration House and
continued to operate there through 2009 when the pastors relocated
full-time to Port Charlotte, Florida.
They formed a small group called Bible Discovery Group while
operating the church in Rhode Island. It met once a week in members'
homes. That same concept was brought to Florida and it grew to three
or more evenings a week. It is now held in a similar format online
weekly utilizing Zoom.
The Evans Ministries is still an equipping ministry and holds
training sessions on healing the sick, speaks at churches locally
and around the country as invited.
The President,
Rev Richard (Dick) Evans writes daily inspirational
thoughts, has written a number of Christian books, is President of
the local Full Gospel Businessman group (FGBMFI), and assists at New
Season Church in Port Charlotte, Florida.
