The evans ministries

I headed out to Richmond ME with my friend Robin Rumbolt on Friday afternoon. We had the privilege to stay at the home of Rebecca and Bruce Parks. They live about thirty minutes away from the Church where the meeting was held.

The weekend was planned as a weekend of intercession and bonding of women in the area. However, God had other ideas and we adjusted. We did continue to seek the heart of God about our lives and ministries.

The key facilitators for the meeting were, Jim Pearce, Carol Kipp, and Valerie DePastino. The following summarizes the events of the weekend.

Friday night we met at the Sheppard of Faith Church with Pastor Jim Pearce. The worship was fabulous. The music ministry was a family who knew how to lead us into His presence. There were about fifty in attendance.

We had the privilege of meeting Valerie DePastino. She comes from Augusta, Georgia near Ron Durham. I would classify her as a revelatory teacher. She gave her testimony from 15 month bed ridden injury of her back. They told her she would never walk again, but fifteen months later the Lord had completely healed her. Her testimony and short teachings reminded me of what I have heard from ministers such as Eldon Wilson, Bill Hammon and Chuck Clayton--very deep, prophetic, and life changing.

The ebbs and flows of the anointing were energizing and profound! Jim continued to facilitate the meeting allowing the gifts to come forward. However, it was not clear of glitches. Nevertheless, the Lord took us to places  of teaching, prophecies, healings, and encouragement.

The gift the Lord has given to me was exposed. He gave me words of knowledge and prophetic words for people. People responded to a word of knowledge of gushy knees! And for lower back pain and women parts to be restored. I am so grateful to be able to be used. Robin flew her flags with great anointing and prepared the way for the word to come forth. She also prophesied and encouraged others in their work of the Lord.

We had planned to leave for home on Sunday morning. When we awoke, Robin felt she needed to go back to the church for their Sunday morning service. She had a word of the Lord for Jim. So being obedient, we went.

I thought I was going just as a support to her. I was thinking so much of returning home I did not realize that the Lord was going to use me as well. We arrived about twenty minutes into praise and worship. Worship was in full swing and there was a healing cloud released over the congregation. WOW! Then the Pastor had a word about divorce and the effects on all involved. As he called people to sit in seats in front of the church to represent children of divorce, divorced men, women, etc., he asked me to pray. I obeyed and walked to the front with not a word to say.

Then the Holy Ghost hit and I started to bubble up. I asked for forgiveness and releasing forgiveness and for the Love of the Father to flow and use our past to minister to those around us! WOW! I had a vision of these people crossing over. I told an elder what I saw, and we proceeded. I laid prostrate in front of the four people and one by one they walked over me as a sign of leaving the past behind. They passed the children over me one to another. Then the Pastor had an alter call for all others who need to leave things behind and go forward in God.

We thought we were at the church for a just few minutes. It was an hour! We did what God called us to do and left to return to be with our husbands back home. After all said, I know the Lord did all of this and even more.

I am forever grateful for God’s love and provision. This is my story and I am sticking to it!
